Communications Officers
We are seeing full time Communications Officers, preferably with a medical background or experience in a similar Communications Room/Call Centre environment.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Co-ordinate the transfer of non-emergency patients on a daily basis.
Dispatch transport requests to patient transport crews.
Liaise with patients, health care providers and transport crews.
Receive and respond to transfer booking requests in a timely manner, as specified in health facility 
      contracts and Ambicare’s KPI’s.
Efficiently and effectively prioritise transfers to meet requirements of health facility contracts and
      Ambicare’s KPI’s.
The successful applicant will possess:
Excellent customer service skills.
Highly professional telephone techniques.
Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
The ability to make timely decisions.
The ability to develop a strong rapport with all customers and key stakeholders.
The ability to plan and prioritise workload.
A meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of and compliance with the NEPT act 2003, Regulations 2005 and DHS Clinical Practice
      Protocols December 2006, would be highly regarded but not essential.
