In 1993 Ambicare fitted a 12/240 volt inversion system to its vehicles to power hospital compatible equipment. (Since then a similar system has been adopted by the Victorian Ambulance Service along with most other private providers.) Ambicare appreciates the need for patient appointment times to be met, this can ensure that bed management for staff is made as easy as possible. Direct contact with authorities Ambicare is a registered health care provider with both the TAC and Workcover and can therefore transfer patients by direct referral.   Reliability Proven track record Ambicare has a proven track record of service combining ambulance service and hospital compatibility for many years. For example, Ambicare  has been servicing the Wimmera Health Care Group and Stawell Regional Hospital since 1994. Ambicare has a many partnerships with health facilities throughout Victoria including the Bendigo Health Care Group and Ambulance Victoria assisting with the transfer of their non emergency patients.
